Maryland Terrapins football is one of the colleges most frequently represented in the Big Ten Conference. Regardless, George Mason University is a place where fans go to cheer for their college team. A large number of fans gather at the center field area of the campus, often carrying signs that say, “Go Jackets!” When the team wins, there is generally a celebration that includes pizza and beer, among other things.

The answer is yes. Effective immediately, the university is changing the way that its football games are presented. Starting in the fall of 2021, the school will begin playing its home games at what is now known as John Hancock Stadium. The venue is being designed by a famous Baltimore architect, causing many Terrapin supporters to grow frustrated with the delays. However, Maryland is quite optimistic about the quality of the venue and its ability to attract high attendances.
Despite the fact that no one is quite sure when the new venue will be finished, it is safe to say that we could be seeing major improvements in the future. Instead, the school will be playing their home games at the current RFK Stadium, which has been the home of the football program for almost thirty years.
