Heriot
It is possible that you have never heard any track of this metalcore band as they are almost still brand new in the scene. We suggest you allow their Near Vision/Enter The Flesh to blast your mind. Debbie Gough leads this truly hardcore and fast-paced song that will make you believe they are indeed one of the best in the metal groove genre. Even Larissa Stupar of Venom Prison has noticed them and is excited about their future. A few adjectives to describe the band is intense and aggressive. Their style can be described as industrial metal hybrid or doom. The new and angsty British band has plans of releasing new music this year and also has tours lined up. They released a slew of singles in 2021 making the world take note of them.

Apes
Apes is a metal band from Quebec which was formed in 2012. Earlier it only produced grindcore music but later on started producing black metal/grindcore. They first released their EP MMXIII in 2013, after releasing its demo in 2012. In 2017, they released their first full-length album, Lightless. They have returned in 2022 with their latest EP, Lullabies for Eternal Sleep. If you are a black metal or death metal fan, you should follow this band closely. You must listen to their lead single ‘Cornwall’. It is a brutal mix of metallic hardcore, black metal, and grindcore.

The Halo Effect
Have you heard of the band ‘In Flames’? Well, former members of that 90s band have formed this new Swedish heavy-metal band, ‘The Halo Effect’. The Halo Effect was formed in 2021 and has already created a loud buzz. The iconic band members like Mikael Stanne, the frontman of Dark Tranquillity, and Jesper Strömblad, In Flames’ original leader were trailblazers of the Gothenburg sound. And they are rocking it again in their new band. If you have been longing to hear a solid death metal song with a strong chorus, play Shadowminds, their debut single. The Nuclear Blast label has signed them up

To Bloom
A perfect amalgamation of hard rock and progressive pop-rock. That is the kind of music this new California band creates. So listening to ‘To Bloom’ will make you listen to those stylish R&B grooves and progressive rock. The guitar licks are clean and the vocals are so smooth that you will find it hard to believe you are listening to a new band. But crank up and listen to their ‘Wander’ and ‘Marionette’. You will realize how fast-paced their tracks are. But they are almost a newborn band who’s planning their yet-to-release numbers. Till now they have maintained a low profile. Therefore, it’s almost impossible to get to know the names of all band members individually! But Spin Magazine and MetalHammer have both named the band as one of the top artists to watch out for in 2022.

Hidden Mothers
If you are a huge fan of black metal, you may have already heard about this new band from Sheffield. Or if you somehow haven’t yet, it’s time for some serious headbanging. Search ‘My Blindness, Your Burden’ and listen to the newest post-metal scream fest. They have introduced themselves as a blackened post-metal/screamo band. Their debut single was ‘The longest journey yet.’ You will find it incredibly hard to believe they are yet to release their debut album. You can listen to their EPs though. Their music tracks have some quiet menacing moments which are then pierced by the squeals and beastly beats.
