The Las Vegas Raiders have an amazing new stadium and an incredible team and coach. There are some great ways to watch the Raiders live streaming and of course you can check out the Raiders schedule and Raiders tickets at all times.
The Raiders are set to embark on a three-game season against other teams from the west coast and the Midwest. I for one am very excited about this. I love watching NFL football but it is very tough to travel and to sit in the stands at a “friendly” team’s stadium. There is no place like home, even on the neutral grounds. This will be a good chance for an NFL fan to see an NFL game at the new stadium.
The season schedule for the 2021 NFL season is arguably the most difficult in the whole NFL. Right now the team is in disarray and has yet to prove they can even make it out of the first three weeks of the season. They lost their opening game to the hated Denver Broncos and got blown out in their second game. The NFL is therefore making certain to feature Two primetime games on CBS and ESPN at primetime this year, as well as a nationally televised game on Fox.
So, if you want to catch the live action on the Super Bowl, the Raiders need to win their final game against the Chargers to earn a wildcard spot in the playoffs. In my opinion, the only game that will ensure they do not miss out on a chance to play in the NFL’s biggest game, is a Week 11 victory over the defending Super Bowl champs in Denver. Let’s discuss why I think this will happen.
First of all, I believe the Vegas Raiders is a better team than the Broncos. I really do. They played the better game, and the team looked like they were completely overwhelmed by the superior talent on the opposing team. The run game, which seemed to be great last year when Michael Vick was injured, has been slow lately, and the passing game has been mediocre at best. Granted, it is understandable that the team made many questionable plays in their loss to the Broncos, but the fact remains that they did not run the ball very well. Even with an experienced quarterback like Tony Romo, I would expect more out of the running game if they are going to win this year’s Super Bowl.
Furthermore, the offense has lacked any real chemistry, which has been a consistent problem all year. Last year in Week 1, the offensive line got into a rut and never found a way to open the hole for the running game. The pass rush seemed to be nonexistent, which led to an ugly turnover ratio in a game the Raiders should have won by several points. Right now the Vegas Raiders has the highest sack percentage allowed in the league, and they are very vulnerable on the outside.
On the other hand, the Vegas Raiders has a very potent offense, and this is their best chance at a breakout year. Michael Vick will be the best quarterback in the NFL this year, and he will throw the ball to anyone in the passing game. With Hall of Fame caliber receivers like Terry Bradshaw, Crabtree, Edwards, Vincent Jackson and Palmer, the Raiders will feed the football to their offense every single time. The addition of Jon Grudnovich and rookie free-agent pickup Michael Crabtree gives the Raiders one of the most potent formations in the NFL right now.
With the arrival of Jon Grudnovich, however, the expectations have to be very high for the Las Vegas Raiders. Grudnovich, who was a first round draft pick of the Bills in 1997, has only played in three NFL games, but he has helped turn the fortunes of ailing franchises around, including the Bills. He has a strong knowledge of the system, the personnel and the playbook. These factors will go a long way in the success of the Raiders this season and beyond, especially since they are in an interesting place in terms of where they’re headed: with a new stadium and a new direction.
With the acquisition of Michael Vick and the signing of Crabtree and Edwards, perhaps the biggest move the Raiders made this off season was getting former Super Bowl MVP LaDanian Tomlinson and his 35 plus years of experience to play left tackle. Tomlinson, in his four-year NFL career, will provide some much needed experience for an offensive line that has only been around for a couple of years. Hopefully, the new additions and the new schemes that head coach Tom Cable and the offensive staff put into place will propel the team into the playoffs and perhaps even the Super Bowl. There’s no doubt that the new faces on the Oakland raiders will help the team to return to the glory days of the 90’s when they dazzled everyone with a style of football that made everyone forget about the “modern” rules of the game.
