Thursday’s play didn’t fire and the chalk took it – not what we are looking for here. The objective is to find some value that can spice up a potential play for anyone out there getting in on the action.

Here’s a few reasons why this horse might run well here:
Recency/Late Speed/Distance/Surface/Pattern
- Should be back on firm green and of course at Belmont. Last time going long like this at 10F on firm popped her best race and fig ever winning G1 at SA (granted downhill start helps a bit with distance). Twice on FIRM at Belmont she just missed and both were shorter than what might be her best and she was moving very nicely at the end.
- Off about nine weeks and in for trainer 22% off a 61-180 day break, fired big race last summer off a similar layoff
- Won last out going 11F and has the aforementioned win at 10F both with figs that are quite competitive here
- Six steady, maintenance drills since the last and back in a G2 which is a reasonable step off the G3 win and indicating she is doing well to try and get her back in peak form for G1 competition the rest of the year (if she runs well and earns it)
Obviously the 1 and the 2 both from Chad Brown appear to be legitimate contenders here as well. The one has that fat and shiny 95 fig from the last but that was just a five horse field on yielding green with a putrid pace. Her overall record is not that imposing. The 2 is a nice gal but may not relish this distance of 10F.
Nothing too crazy here just need her to run a race she is capable of and she will get played here so not expecting anything more than that 4/1. Good luck!
