Free-agent guard Brad Wanamaker has agreed to a one-year, $2.25 million deal to join the Golden State Warriors, his agent, Steve McCaskill, told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Wanamaker played a productive role with the Boston Celtics and now is expected to see some significant minutes as Stephen Curry‘s backup.

Wanamaker, 31, made his NBA debut in 2018-19 with Boston. He saw his minutes increase significantly last season and averaged 6.9 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 19.3 minutes per game.
