Let the guests know you care about their comfort by giving them a warning. A little heads-up goes a long way. Send out any warnings necessary about weather expectations or notifications about the venue. If the forecast says temperatures will be extremely high or that there might be a chill in the area, send a quick reminder to guests.
This way, they can dress appropriately and stay hydrated. If the ground and leveling of the event can be a problem for guests, describe the landscape and place signs around the venue. A simple message like “watch your step” can prevent many accidents from happening.

If you want to try a different approach, consider placing citronella torches, candles, and burning oils out. They’re all great options. Keep in mind that this doesn’t guarantee that you’ll keep every bug out, but it’ll deter most of them. Focus on areas with food so that people can eat in peace.
