The Grady Gammage Memorial Auditorium serves as the college’s home ground for performing arts and theatre. It is also known as the Temperettes Center. Carey Bank Museum of Art has an art gallery where you can view paintings from all over the world. There is also a theater where you can see local movies, concerts and operas. For the younger crowd, there is a theater dedicated to the arts called the Tempe Theatre that includes a running series of musicals and comedy plays.

If you are interested in culture, then you will enjoy the Tempe Arts Council which is one of the most popular nonprofit organizations in the Phoenix area. They sponsor events such as the Tempe Artists Festival and Papago Park Restaurant Week. Both of these events focus on the arts while providing entertainment for visitors.

Tempe is a great city that offers a little bit of everything. Visitors of all ages will be drawn to the town lake and its surrounding communities.
