As you can see, world-class international rugby will make its debut at the iconic Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in October 2021 with the inaugural Las Vegas Rugby Cup. The USA Men’s National Rugby team, the Eagles, will host Ireland in a landmark rugby event on Saturday, October 30, 2021.
Captain Jackett is a prop for the USA National Rugby Team and is also an active member of the Eagles rugby team. He serves as team orthopedic surgeon for the USA National Rugby Team along with the Chicago Lions Rugby Club. During his four years of professional rugby, he has come up with a great amount of knowledge about the sport. He is a graduate of DeMatha High School in Maryland, where he played rugby all throughout his childhood and into his early college years. Prior to joining the USA National Rugby Team, he was the strength and conditioning coach at the High School and he was also the Director of Sports Performance for the Maryland University Men’s lacrosse team.
Right wing – Jackett is a powerful player who can play inside or outside at the hook, in the back row or on the wing. He is a powerful runner and excellent ball player who are good at creating chances for his teammates and scoring tries. At the International Cricket Academy, he made headlines when he was chosen as the USA player of the year after making a record 9 tries against England at the academy. He is one of the fastest forwards in the nation.
Wide forward – Jackett is a natural ball player who is excellent at kicking goals. A right wing, who plays in the forwards has to be strong and aggressive. This will give him the opportunity to score tries like he did for the USA National Rugby Team when he helped them win the world cup in the USA last year. He is also one of the fastest forwards in the nation.
Flyer – The flanker is a natural forward who can play at centre or at tighthead. He is an outstanding ball player who has the ability to create chances for his team. He also passes well and scores a lot of tries. forwards are extremely fast and agile in the running game, which is a talent he has picked up from USA rugby team coach John Kostassa.
Number six. Billy King is the only Welsh player on the squad for this year’s USA rugby team. He has represented Wales at three different levels of international rugby including the 2021 World Cup victory. He has also played club rugby for the past few years with the Atlanta Rhinos and Las Vegas Knights.
Number seven. Sam Peterson is another Welshman on the bench this tournament. He has played rugby for both Harlequins and Wasps. Now playing for the USA team, he is making a name for himself with the Eagles. If he continues to develop his game, he has a good chance of making the England team next year as a specialist inside forward.
