Fantasy Football Value Gem: Week 4

Fantasy Football Value Gem:   Our Value Gem in Week 2 was a very solid performer for the salary cost of merely $3,700.  Tyrell Williams hauled in 3 catches for 61 yards and a touchdown.  Week 1 was a total dud but Week 3 was also a solid contributor when RB Melvin Gordon found the endzone for the Chargers and caught a few balls.  On we go to Week 4.  The intent here is to find a low cost but productive option to round out a roster in a DFS contest.  Of course anyone can select the obvious choices if one wishes to pay those high salaries, but unfortunately one can’t fill an entire roster with the top salaries at every position.

Let’s take a look at the Cleveland Browns this week and their trip to Washington D.C. to play the Redskins. The Washington Redskins are currently ranked 29^th in the NFL in defensive yards allowed giving up 424.7 yards/game.  The team is also allowing 123 yards/game on the ground while surrendering 30.7 points/game. 

The Browns are 0-3 and everyone knows they are not very good. However, their offense has gotten a little bit better each week and they still have this game this weekend to play before WR Josh Gordon makes it back into the lineup.  We are looking for the Browns to play loose and without feeling any pressure and looking to expand their offensive options.  This brings us to our selection for this week.

Obviously Pryor is getting more attention after his big game last week but it should be noted he was targeted a lot last week. We expect that to continue this week with Gordon still out and the Browns facing this horrid Redskins defense.  We also have the possibility of Pryor being used situationally at RB and at QB which is an added bonus.
