San Bernardino is a city that is renowned for its rich culture and many great things to do. Located east of Los Angeles, it is a popular destination in the Inland Empire region of California.

One of the best attractions here is the historic California Theatre of Performing Arts, which has entertained the region since 1928. It hosts numerous concerts, musicals, plays, and other performances each year.

1. San Manuel Park

San Bernardino is a bustling city that boasts lots of California culture and things to do. It is also a great getaway from LA, so it’s an ideal choice for those looking to escape the crowds and enjoy some Californian sunshine without having to leave the state.

The City is home to one of the world’s most historic theaters – the California Theater, which was built in 1928 and hosts touring Broadway musicals and concerts by the San Bernardino Symphony. It is considered the premier entertainment venue in the area and has played host to big names including Garth Brooks and Luke Bryan.

2. Route 66 Rendezvous Festival

San Bernardino is known for its location on the original Route 66 and you’ll find a number of events, shops, bars and restaurants celebrating this famous road.

It’s also home to some fascinating museums and sports venues, making it a great place to explore if you want to discover more about California culture and things to do.

The city’s annual Route 66 Rendezvous Festival started out as a modest car show decades ago and now attracts more than 500,000 people every year. The event is a free spectacle that brings car buffs to downtown San Bernardino for a weekend of car shows, activities and entertainment.

3. San Manuel Stadium

Located in downtown San Bernardino, the Inland Empire 66ers have called San Manuel Stadium their home since 1996. The park was opened to replace Fiscalini Field and has a capacity of 8000 people.

The ballpark has some features that make it an attractive venue for a minor league baseball game, including a decent video scoreboard and an oversized photo of the team on the main screen. Unfortunately, the scoreboard can get a bit glarey during late afternoon/early evening games due to a high level of sun.

If you’re looking for a less touristy escape from Los Angeles, San Bernardino has plenty of things to do. One of the best ways to experience the city is to spend some time in the downtown district, where you’ll find everything from artisan shops to art galleries.

4. San Manuel Museum

San Bernardino is a city rich in culture and things to do. It’s a large city that is home to the largest county in California, so it’s not surprising that there are plenty of local attractions.

If you’re a sports fan, one of the best places to visit is San Manuel Stadium, the home of the Inland Empire 66ers baseball team. The stadium has a capacity of over 8,000 people and has many features, including a lagoon and waterslides.

5. San Bernardino History and Railroad Museum

Located at the old Santa Fe Depot in San Bernardino, this museum features local history and railroad-related artifacts. It also has hundreds of historic photographs.

The museum is a great place to learn about the history of this area, especially if you’re a fan of trains. It’s free to enter and features many interesting things.

Another interesting attraction is the Norton Air Force Base Museum, which features uniforms and memorabilia from the military. The place is also home to a replica of a C-141 aircraft, which rescued Vietnamese prisoners of war during World War II.

6. Boxing Hall of Fame

San Bernardino isn’t your average California city. This bustling town is home to a number of exciting attractions that will keep your vacation fun and interesting.

Hiking and mountain biking are two of the most popular outdoor activities in San Bernardino. There are hundreds of trails to choose from and stunning views throughout Angeles National Forest.

7. McDonald’s Museum

San Bernardino is known as the ‘Gateway to the Inland Empire’ and it’s here that you’ll find some of California’s best culture and things to do. Aside from its downtown neighbourhood, which is buzzing with artisan shops and art galleries, the city is home to some fascinating museums, sports venues and historic sights.

One of the coolest California attractions is the McDonald’s Museum, which you can visit for free if you’re a big fan of the fast food chain. Inside, you’ll find classic Happy Meal toys, images of McDonald’s across the globe and historical ads on display.
