Aerosmith is heading to Sin City for residency at the Park Theatre that starts on April 6th and lasts through July. This announcement ends several months of speculation from fans wondering if the band would head out on tour given the momentous anniversary.
50! Yes, that is correct. 2019 marks the 50th year the legends Aerosmith have been together making music. Aerosmith has sold more than 150 million records worldwide.
The band states that the Park Theatre in Las Vegas will enable them to create Aerosmith World and give fans an experience they wouldn’t get on a regular tour. So does that mean there won’t be a regular tour? Does this mean this residency is just the start of a longer term residency like seen by Elton John in Las Vegas? It isn’t a stretch to think a band as prominent as Aerosmith could follow in the footsteps of Elton John, Celine Dion, and Britney Spears by parking a popular act in Las Vegas and avoiding the rigors of travel. Time will tell. Tune in for updates.
